If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy and a real purr machine, Demetrius is your boy. Take a good look at this handsome orange tabby and his sweet pink nose! And get your camera ready... he loves to pose and let you take lots of pictures!

Demetrius is a little shy at first but if you’re nice to him, he will quickly warm up and cuddle with you. He loves napping with his foster parents (make room on the bed!) and is also quite fond of his siblings (Helena, Hermia, Lysander, and Snug). Demetrius is playful and intelligent, likes to talk every now and then, and has lots of fun playing with everyone.

Demetrius and his siblings were rescued from the streets by a kind family who ended up with an overabundance of cats and kittens. The family contacted Viva Los Gatos in hopes of getting some help finding homes for several litters of kittens born this year. All the kittens arrived with runny eyes and noses, and are receiving regular care to clear this condition that is common in stray kitties. 

Demetrius will be available for adoption in early November. By that time, he will be spayed and current on vaccinations. Demetrius has tested negative for both FIV (Feline AIDS) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia), and been dewormed and treated for fleas. His ideal forever home would include a companion animal and older children (or considerate young ones). Consider opening your heart to this handsome lovebug and one of his siblings!
